Our History

Goetz, Bailey & Yale P.S. was founded in 1998 by Rick L. Linder, CPA, and Chris W. Goetz, CPA. Our office is located along the Columbia River adjacent to Riverfront Park, in Wenatchee, Washington.

Chris W. Goetz, CPA, Shareholder​

Chris graduated from Washington State University in 1985 with a B.A. in Accounting. He co-founded the firm in 1998 and has an extensive background in financial accounting and reports taxation, and tax planning, for individuals and closely-held businesses. Chris is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Geoff Bailey, CPA, Shareholder

Geoff graduated from Eastern Wasington University in 2010 with a B.S. in Accounting and  obtained his CPA license in July of 2014. He has been with the firm since 2019 and currently practices in the areas of financial statement services and federal income taxation. Geoff specializes in agricultural taxation as well as audits of homeowners associations and cooperatives. He is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Michael Yale, CPA, Shareholder

Michael graduated from Central Washington University in 2005 with a B.S. in Accounting and obtained his CPA license in January of 2011. He has been with the firm since 2006 and currently practices in the areas of financial statement services and federal income taxation. Michael also specializes in: Assurance service for profit and not-for profit organizations, Taxation for small businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals, Business valuations and, New business consulting. Mike is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Angie Juchmes, CPA, Supervisor

Angie graduated from Central Washington University in 2002 with a B.S. in Accounting and obtained certification in 2009. Her experience includes federal income tax for individuals and business, reporting of state and federal payroll taxes, Washington State excise taxes and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She is a member of the Washington State Society of CPAs.

Amanda Post, Supervisor of Accounting Services

Amanda graduated from Wenatchee Valley College in 2019 with an AA degree in Accounting. She has been with the firm since 2019 and currently practices in the areas of full bookkeeping services including payroll, quarterly payroll reports, and Washington State Excise B&O Reports. Her specialties include payroll for agricultural companies and helping new client’s setup their payroll and QuickBooks files. Her hobbies include hiking, going camping, and spending quality time with her family.

Adrian Stinson, Staff Accountant

Adrian joined us with several years’ experience with both personal and business tax, and a passion for helping clients work through their tax issues. She attended Wenatchee Valley College with a focus on accounting and has recently passed the final enrolled agent exam and is now working on earning her special designation in tax resolution. In her free time, you can find her at a festival, helping her family at a local craft faire, or playing bingo with her bingo team: The Thunder Daubers.

Patricia graduated from Central Washington University in 2021 with a B.S. in Accounting. She is new to the company as of June 2023 and is actively pursuing a CPA Certificate. She enjoys spending time with her family, all their pets (which include pigs and a snake) and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Mayra graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2016 with a B.S. in Accounting. She has been with the firm since 2016 and currently practices in the areas of federal income taxation. Mayra enjoys spending time with her family, going to Lake Chelan in the summer, and going on walks.

Adam O'Dell, Staff Accountant

Adam graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2005 with a B.S. in Finance and Economics. He worked at Alcoa Wenatchee Works until the planted was curtailed in 2016. After Alcoa, Adam attended and graduated from Central Washington University in 2017 with a B.S. in Accounting. He has been with the firm since 2019 and his experience includes federal taxation for individuals and business, financial statements, and federal and state reporting.​

Stacy Spurlock, Accounting Specialist

She attended Wenatchee High School and Wenatchee Alternative High School and received her GED in 1989. She has an Associate Degree in accounting through online courses taken at Everett University South Orlando Campus, graduated Summa Cum Laude in October of 2015. She specializes in payroll and payroll taxes. Stacy’s hobbies include billiards, camping and jewelry making, which I would like to turn into a business.

Donna graduated from Wenatchee Valley College in 2016 with an Associate and an Accounting Certificate of Completion. Her experience includes Full Level bookkeeping and Payroll services. She is new to the Company as of March 2022. Donna likes spending her time camping with her family and horseback riding. ​

Anahin Gonzalez, Receptionist

Anahin grew up in Brewster and when she graduated in 2009 she moved to Wenatchee. She attended Wenatchee Valley College and graduated with an A.T.S. in Criminal Justice in 2013. Anahin has over 7 years of office administration experience. Anahin enjoys teaching Zumba classes, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.​

Shelley English

Shelley comes to us with over 20 years of experience in payroll and a strong bookkeeping background. She’s Quickbooks Online Certified and loves learning and implementing new software. Her favorite part of the job is onboarding new clients, instructing them on best practices, and designing accounting procedures that allow them to focus on running their businesses. When she’s not spoiling her clients, Shelley enjoys volunteering for local non-profits, road trips, live music of all kinds, and laughing with her friends and family.
